Path system in Bjergsted municipality. The project is to establish an overall path system in the municipality, so that citizens and tourists interested in nature and outdoor life can move around on foot throughout the municipality to all available and interesting sites and to camping grounds, harbours, trout lakes, etc. The path system is to connect with existing regional path systems that touch the municipality boundary. The project is divided into two phases. Phase 1 is the mapping out and agreement making phase. Phase 2 is the establishment and visibility making phase. A new system of signs and a folder will help make the path system a local and regional possibility, not only for local inhabitants, but also for tourists who wish to visit this area. In relation to the tourists, two simple overnight accommodations with shelters and a bird watching tower at Saltbaekvig are being established. Information boards are being set up at different locations in the municipality with information about the area’s history, geography, geology and nature. The project is divided into three phases. Phase 1 is the idea development phase with laying down the principles regarding form, strength and sustainability. Phase 2 is the anchoring phase with the forming of groups of tradesmen to build the house. Visitors’ Center for nature and history in the Aamose region. The project will establish an information center at Fugledegaard on Tissoe Lake. The center will provide information about the region’s special culture and nature for the local population and tourists.
